Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, personalized care to mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure safety
• Assist obstetricians with deliveries, including cesarean sections and emergency procedures
• Educate new parents on newborn care, feeding, and recovery
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create positive birth experiences
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or compact state
• Current BLS certification required
• NRP certification strongly preferred
• Previous Labor and Delivery experience preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
