Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to ICU patients, including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory distress cases
• Titrate cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips while carefully monitoring patient responses
• Interpret and document telemetry strips, using GE monitors and collaborating with tele tech oversight
• Manage ventilator patients from nasal cannula to vent, troubleshooting respiratory equipment as needed
• Collaborate with nurse aides and healthcare support techs to maintain a safe and healing environment
• Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, delivering quality care with adapted nurse-to-patient ratios

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nebraska or a compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• EPIC charting experience is a plus
• Willingness to float to PCU or MedSurg as patient needs dictate
• Valid driver's license for radius verification
• Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90% during orientation
