Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Occupational Therapists
• Assist patients with therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills
• Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques

Qualifications

• Active California COTA license (must be currently active)
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
• Experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing settings preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules
• Must pass background check and provide references

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of rehabilitation therapy techniques and modalities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems
