Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients, including cleanings and preventive treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and disease prevention
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Document patient care and maintain accurate treatment records
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain a sterile and safe clinical environment
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Current CPR certification
- Prior experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and techniques
- Knowledge of dental radiology and X-ray safety
- Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Strong interpersonal and patient education skills
- Familiarity with dental software and charting systems
