Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and assess patient vitals, responding quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the care team to create personalized care plans
• Support and educate patients and families through challenging moments
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain a safe, healing environment

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Iowa or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday, including July 3 and 4
• Completion of Trinity Specific Competency Testing and Skills Checklist
• Pass required health screenings and license/certificate verification

• Critical care nursing principles and best practices
• Advanced cardiac life support and trauma nursing skills
• Comfort with ventilators, monitors, and ICU equipment
• Strong assessment and rapid decision-making abilities
• Exceptional teamwork and patient advocacy
