Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care in the emergency department
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition with quick action
• Provide compassionate support to patients and their families during stressful situations
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical records

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience in emergency nursing or acute care is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and procedures
• Proficiency in using medical equipment such as cardiac monitors, IV pumps, and defibrillators
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Effective communication with patients, families, and medical staff
