Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Perform triage, assessment, and stabilization of patients of all ages
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with the care team to create and implement care plans
• Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
• Provide clear communication and education to patients and their families
• Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in the state of practice
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications are a plus
• Prior emergency department or acute care experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible, per diem shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong triage and patient assessment skills
• Knowledge of emergency nursing procedures and protocols
• Ability to stay calm and think critically under pressure
• Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
