Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe nursing care for patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Assist cardiology physicians and the procedural team during catheterizations
• Monitor hemodynamics, telemetry, and patient status throughout procedures
• Maintain sterile field and ensure rigorous infection control practices
• Document procedures, assessments, and interventions accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about procedures, post-procedure care, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond effectively to procedural emergencies and support rapid interventions

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) credential
• 2+ years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab (explicit requirement)
• Clinical nursing background with Cardiac Cath Lab specialty
• Comfortable working a 13-week travel assignment

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac catheterization procedures and peri-procedural care
• Hemodynamic monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Sterile technique and procedural room workflow
• Patient assessment, triage, and post-procedure monitoring
• Accurate clinical documentation and familiarity with EMR systems
• Strong communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
