Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care for BMT and oncology ICU patients
• Manage ventilators and BiPAP devices to optimize respiratory support
• Titrate vasoactive drips safely and titrate per protocol
• Perform and manage trach care, dressing changes, and total care for critically ill patients
• Operate and monitor IV pumps, CRRT, A-lines, and other critical care equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver patient-centered care
• Document accurately in Meditech EMR and communicate clear handoffs during shift change

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Texas) required
• Minimum 1 year of ICU critical care nursing experience (strong ICU background required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with ventilator management, titrating drips, trach care, and IV pump use
• CRRT and transplant experience (kidney, pancreas, liver) strongly preferred
• Comfort working in a 2:1 patient ratio and in an oncology/BMT ICU environment

Education

• Active RN license; ADN or BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing principles and hands-on ICU skills
• Ventilator and BiPAP management
• Drip titration and vasoactive medication management
• Trach care and advanced airway management
• Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) basics
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR and bedside documentation
• Monitoring and troubleshooting IV pumps, A-lines, and hemodynamic support

This is a travel position based in Dallas.
