Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate behavioral health nursing care to adult patients with varied mental health issues in a geri-psych unit
• Conduct admissions, discharges, and lead RN duties
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a Magnet-designated facility
• Handle patient acuity with flexibility and teamwork
• Float to other inpatient adult behavioral health units as needed

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• CPI Certification or Calm Every Storm Certification
• At least 1 year of current Behavioral Health experience as an RN
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong inpatient Behavioral Health experience
• Flexibility and willingness to handle patient acuity
• Team-player attitude and compassion
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
