Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures including trauma imaging to support rapid patient care
• Operate portable x-ray units and OEC C-arm equipment in varied settings such as the OR and bedside
• Conduct fluoroscopy exams and general x-ray studies with attention to safety and image quality
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and technologists to prioritize urgent imaging needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in the MEDITECH system and ensure patient records are complete
• Adhere to ACR, DHEC and Joint Commission standards to keep the imaging department compliant and safe

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required)
• SCQRSA certification (required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of radiologic technologist experience (hiring profile states 1 yr; job metadata lists 2 yrs experience)
• Proven ability to perform trauma radiography, portable exams, C-arm in the OR, fluoroscopy and general x-ray
• Comfortable using GE Digital X-ray, GS Digital portable and OEC C-arm equipment
• Familiarity with MEDITECH or similar documentation systems

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient positioning
• Skill operating C-arm and portable x-ray units safely and efficiently
• Fluoroscopy techniques and radiation safety best practices
• Image quality assessment and troubleshooting equipment issues
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary care teams and patients
• Basic computer skills for MEDITECH documentation and image management
