Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapy interventions following the PT plan of care
• Document patient progress and celebrate every milestone along the way
• Empower patients with education and home exercise programs they can continue beyond their stay
• Communicate patient status clearly and effectively to the supervising PT
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled, and compliant environment for everyone

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active South Carolina PTA license (or the ability to obtain one)
• A collaborative spirit ready to follow treatment plans and work with interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of physical therapy principles and therapeutic modalities
• Exceptional patient care and interpersonal communication skills
• Meticulous documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Knowledge of infection control practices to keep patients and staff safe
• Ability to educate patients on exercises and treatment plans in an encouraging way
• Experience in treatment planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
