Physical Therapist Assistant - Travel
Location: Georgetown, SC
Start Date: 08-05-2026
End Date: 11-04-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized therapy interventions following the PT plan of care
- Document patient progress and celebrate every milestone along the way
- Empower patients with education and home exercise programs they can continue beyond their stay
- Communicate patient status clearly and effectively to the supervising PT
- Maintain a safe, infection-controlled, and compliant environment for everyone
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active South Carolina PTA license (or the ability to obtain one)
- A collaborative spirit ready to follow treatment plans and work with interdisciplinary teams
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of physical therapy principles and therapeutic modalities
- Exceptional patient care and interpersonal communication skills
- Meticulous documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Knowledge of infection control practices to keep patients and staff safe
- Ability to educate patients on exercises and treatment plans in an encouraging way
- Experience in treatment planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
