Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy interventions following the PT plan of care
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status clearly to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active California PTA license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy interventions and treatment plan implementation
• Patient care and mobility assistance
• Clinical documentation and progress tracking
• Patient education and home exercise instruction
• Clear communication and teamwork
• Compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements
