Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapy interventions following the PT plan of care to help patients regain mobility and independence
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs to promote continued recovery
• Communicate openly with supervising PTs and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Champion safety and infection control standards in every interaction

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Texas PTA license (or ability to obtain before start)
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Therapy interventions and treatment techniques
• Accurate documentation and medical records
• Patient education and home exercise instruction
• Clear communication with supervising PTs and care teams
• Safety and infection control protocols
