Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions following each patient's plan of care
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment with accuracy and care
• Support patients with education and home exercise programs that help them thrive
• Communicate patient status clearly to the supervising physical therapist
• Uphold safety, infection control, and compliance standards every day

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain)
• A team player who can follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy interventions and treatment techniques
• Documentation and patient progress tracking
• Patient education and home exercise instruction
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and colleagues
