Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate physical therapy assistance to patients recovering from illness or injury
• Implement treatment plans developed by licensed physical therapists to help patients regain mobility and independence
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately, ensuring high-quality care
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services
• Support patients and their families with education and encouragement throughout the recovery process

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Hampshire
• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques, modalities, and rehabilitation principles
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and prioritize tasks
• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance regulations in a skilled nursing setting
