Physical Therapist Assistant - Skilled Nursing
Location: Lebanon, NH
Start Date: 08-31-2026
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Bill Rate: $29-$34/hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate physical therapy assistance to patients recovering from illness or injury
- Implement treatment plans developed by licensed physical therapists to help patients regain mobility and independence
- Monitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately, ensuring high-quality care
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services
- Support patients and their families with education and encouragement throughout the recovery process
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Hampshire
- Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques, modalities, and rehabilitation principles
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and prioritize tasks
- Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance regulations in a skilled nursing setting
