Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Assist with meals and ensure proper nutrition and hydration
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
• Support residents with activities and provide emotional encouragement
• Collaborate with nurses and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico or compact state
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• At least 6 months of recent CNA experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills with a gentle, empathetic approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and electronic health records
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Time management skills to handle a busy 12-hour shift with grace
