Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic interventions and exercises following each patient's plan of care
- Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately
- Empower patients through education and home exercise programs
- Communicate patient status and observations to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain a safe, infection-controlled environment and adhere to compliance standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license, or ability to obtain one
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Dedication to patient-centered care and safety
Education
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Therapy interventions and patient care techniques
- Patient education and home exercise program instruction
- Accurate documentation and medical record keeping
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Infection control and safety practices
- Compliance with state and federal regulations
- Interdisciplinary collaboration
