Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized therapy interventions following the PT plan of care to help patients restore mobility and independence
- Document patient progress and treatment responses accurately to support continuity of care
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs for continued progress between sessions
- Communicate regularly with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards in all aspects of patient care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active North Carolina PTA license (or ability to obtain one)
- Ability to work collaboratively with supervising PTs and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Education
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Physical therapy interventions and treatment plan implementation
- Patient care and education techniques
- Home exercise program development
- Clinical documentation and record-keeping
- Compliance with safety and infection control standards
