Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions following each patient's PT plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately
• Assist patients with education and home exercise programs to support their goals
• Communicate patient status updates clearly to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance standards in all interactions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Massachusetts or ability to obtain one
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work effectively within interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong foundation in physical therapy interventions and patient care
• Accurate documentation and attention to detail
• Patient education and the ability to explain home exercise programs
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with supervising PTs and teams
• Knowledge of infection control and compliance standards
