Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Contract
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $52 - $36.4 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility programs to restore function
- Monitor and document patient progress with precision and care
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs for continued recovery
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Missouri PTA License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques
- Gait training and mobility program implementation
- Patient documentation and progress tracking
- Patient education and caregiver training
- Effective communication and teamwork in a healthcare setting
