Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during procedures, including bonding, debonding, and adjustments
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and appliance maintenance
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes

Qualifications

• Active orthodontic dental assistant certification required
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in orthodontic software and digital records
• Understanding of infection control protocols
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and orthodontic terminology
• Excellent patient communication and education skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
