Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient exams and procedures with precision and care
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms for a safe environment
• Take and process dental X-rays as needed for treatment planning
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA or state-specific)
• X-ray certification required
• Experience in orthodontics preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency in dental software for patient scheduling and records
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Teamwork mindset with a passion for patient care
