Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient exams, procedures, and appliance adjustments
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed by the orthodontist
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and post-procedure instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Deliver a positive, comfortable experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification is required
• Experience in orthodontic or dental assisting
• Ability to maintain infection control standards
• Strong patient care skills and a friendly demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping
• Excellent communication with patients and team members
• Time management in a busy dental practice
• Familiarity with dental management software like Denticon
