Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including teeth cleaning and scaling, to keep patients smiling brightly
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care to promote long-term dental health
• Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for every patient
• Partner with the dentist and dental assistant to deliver a seamless and positive patient experience
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly, maintaining detailed records for every visit
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards to protect both patients and team members

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New Jersey
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices and instrumentation
• Skill in patient education and preventive care
• Ability to manage a 30-minute appointment schedule effectively
• Proficiency with electronic dental records
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Teamwork and collaboration with dental assistants and dentists
