Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor vital signs, interpret data, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and life support interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate and support patients and their families during challenging times
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing principles and practices
• Skilled in patient assessment, monitoring, and early detection of complications
• Proficient in medication administration, titration, and IV therapy
• Experience with ventilators, central lines, and other critical care equipment
• Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
