Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures and treatments
• Take and prepare dental X-rays and impressions
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon software
• Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for patients

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
• Experience in orthodontic assisting
• Knowledge of dental radiography and X-ray safety
• Proficiency with dental software such as Denticon
• Compassionate and patient-focused mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced office
• Attention to detail in patient care and record-keeping
• Familiarity with orthodontic tools and equipment
