Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients of all ages
- Take and develop dental x-rays to support accurate diagnoses
- Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and post-treatment care
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized operatory in compliance with infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality care
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in dental hygiene instrumentation and ultrasonic scaling
- Knowledge of dental radiography (X-rays) and safety protocols
- Familiarity with dental software and patient charting systems
- Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently
- Empathy and a gentle touch to put patients at ease
