Roles & Responsibilities

• Support orthodontists during braces and Invisalign procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient patient visits
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a clean, safe environment
• Take and mount dental X-rays as needed
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, braces care, and Invisalign usage
• Manage patient records and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Assist with patient intake and ensure comfort throughout treatment

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification preferred
• X-ray certification (bitewing, panoramic) required or willingness to obtain
• Prior experience in orthodontics preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate
• Knowledge of braces, Invisalign, and orthodontic procedures is a plus
• Strong passion for patient care and a positive, can-do attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Understanding of orthodontic terminology and treatment flows
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping
• Time management skills to keep the clinic flowing smoothly
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced dental environment
