Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for each patient
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including fitting braces and retainers
• Take dental X-rays and impressions with precision
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and brace care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every patient

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant certification from an accredited program
• Current CPR certification
• X-ray/Radiology certification (or ability to obtain)
• Previous experience in orthodontics is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and instruments
• Proficiency with dental software, including Denticon
• Skilled in taking dental X-rays and impressions
• Strong patient care and chairside assistance abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
