Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse oximetry, for oral surgery patients
• Administer nitrous oxide and assist with IV sedation to ensure patient comfort and safety
• Take panoramic X-rays to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Assist the oral surgeon during wisdom tooth extractions, managing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
• Provide clear, compassionate post-operative instructions to patients and their families
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain accurate patient records for efficient workflow

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or state license as applicable
• Hands-on experience with nitrous oxide administration and IV sedation
• Proficiency in taking panoramic X-rays and monitoring vital signs
• Solid understanding of wisdom tooth surgery procedures and post-operative care
• Strong communication skills with a caring, patient-focused attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
