Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in an acute care setting
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals on patient care plans
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately
• Educate patients and their families about care plans and procedures

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in Alabama (or compact state license)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Previous experience in acute care, hospital, or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of acute care nursing practices and standards
• Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
• Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
