Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Triage patients efficiently and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications, initiate IVs, and perform emergency procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions continuously
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
• Document accurate patient information and maintain confidentiality
• Respond quickly and confidently to life-threatening situations

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC certifications required
• Strong experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers
• Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to make quick decisions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of emergency nursing protocols and practices
• Proficient in trauma assessment, stabilization, and resuscitation
• Skilled in patient triage and prioritization
• Knowledgeable in administering emergency medications and treatments
• Adept at using electronic health records and medical equipment
• Ability to remain calm and focused during crises
