Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, Monday-Friday. Options: 5x8-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM), 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), or 3x12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM). No weekends, no holidays.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures including ablations, device implants, and cardioversions
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and electrophysiological data during procedures
• Provide scrub and circulating support in the EP lab
• Educate patients and families on procedural care and post-operative instructions
• Collaborate with the cardiac care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain sterile field and ensure proper functioning of equipment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (must be current)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of electrophysiology and scrub experience required
• Ability to work day shifts with flexible scheduling options
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in electrophysiology nursing and cardiac procedures
• Proficiency in scrub technique and sterile processing
• Familiarity with EP mapping systems and hemodynamic monitoring
• Knowledge of cardiac rhythms, defibrillators, and pacemakers
• Excellent patient assessment and documentation skills
