Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality dental hygiene care and preventive services to patients
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and at-home care
- Screen patients for oral health concerns and report findings to the dentist
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments are sterilized
- Document patient treatments and update dental records
- Work alongside a dental assistant to ensure a smooth patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New Jersey
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong patient education and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental environment
- Experience with dental software is a plus
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
- Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Skill in documenting patient care accurately
- Ability to build rapport with a diverse patient population
- Familiarity with dental practice management software
