Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dental hygiene care and preventive services to patients
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and at-home care
• Screen patients for oral health concerns and report findings to the dentist
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments are sterilized
• Document patient treatments and update dental records
• Work alongside a dental assistant to ensure a smooth patient flow

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental environment
• Experience with dental software is a plus
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Skill in documenting patient care accurately
• Ability to build rapport with a diverse patient population
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
