Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform thorough cleanings, scaling, and root planing to promote optimal oral health
• Take and interpret dental x-rays while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and overall oral hygiene techniques
• Collaborate with dentists to develop personalized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure strict infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a patient-centered environment
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental hygiene instruments and equipment
• Experience with digital radiography and dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
• Understanding of OSHA and infection control standards
• Skill in patient education and chairside manner
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
