Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible shifts, 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM (as needed)

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and scaling to remove plaque and tartar
Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment

Qualifications

Active Dental Hygienist license in New York State
Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
Experience is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Education

Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and equipment
Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs
Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team
Excellent patient education and chairside manner
Attention to detail and infection control protocols
