Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Assist with patient education and post-operative instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Support the dental team in delivering high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification in Maryland (or eligible)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Skill in taking dental radiographs
- Proficiency with dental software and EHR systems
- Infection control and sterilization protocols
- Excellent patient care skills
