Roles & Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxis
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Take and develop dental X-rays
Assess patients' oral health and document findings
Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

Qualifications

Active Dental Hygienist license in New York
Current CPR certification
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and infection control standards

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in dental hygiene procedures
Knowledge of dental software and charting
Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
Understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
