Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists with patient care and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Update patient records and manage appointment schedules
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene
• Take and process dental X-rays
• Ensure a comfortable and clean environment for patients

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification (CDA) or equivalent
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience assisting dental hygienists in a clinical setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• State-specific licensure where required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Proficient in sterilization techniques and infection control
• Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
