Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams for inpatient, ED and outpatient populations with accuracy and compassion
• Operate and optimize the GE Optima 660 CT scanner while following imaging protocols
• Prepare patients for scans, including IV starts when needed (typically day shift assistance)
• Manage imaging workflows in EPIC and McKesson PACS, ensuring timely image capture and delivery
• Collaborate with radiologists and CT leads to ensure diagnostic quality and patient safety
• Maintain radiation safety practices, personal Rad Badge use, and departmental documentation
• Provide clear, respectful patient communication and deliver an excellent patient experience

Qualifications

• WA state license required at time of submittal
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must provide your own Rad Badge
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience (explicitly stated)
• IV placement skills (days may be asked to assist with IV starts)
• Comfortable working night shifts and participating in scheduled on-call rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven experience with CT imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records
• Experience using McKesson PACS for image archiving and retrieval
• Hands-on experience with GE Optima 660 or similar CT equipment
• Strong radiation safety knowledge and use of Rad Badge monitoring
• Ability to work effectively in a Level 4 trauma hospital environment
