Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray procedures to produce high-quality images for patient care.
• Administer IV contrast and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Work effectively with patients and physicians, prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with interdepartmental personnel.
• Ensure radiation safety and adherence to protocols at all times.
• Perform procedures on patients of all ages, from newborn to geriatric.

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) and (R) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of current CT and X-ray imaging experience.
• IV skills and ability to start IVs required.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
• New Hampshire MIRT license required.
• Proficiency with MediTech, Phillips, Siemens, AGFA DR, and OEC C-arm highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (highly preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of CT and X-ray imaging protocols and techniques.
• Expertise in IV contrast administration and patient monitoring.
• Radiation safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Patient care and communication skills for diverse populations.
• Proficiency with HMS Medhost EMR system.
• Operation of Siemens Somatom 40-slice CT scanner and Carestream X-ray equipment.
