Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and related imaging procedures (also support MRI, X-ray and fluoroscopy when needed) using GE equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging exams with clear communication and careful positioning
• Produce diagnostic images that meet radiologist and department standards and troubleshoot equipment or image issues
• Document procedures accurately in Meditech and maintain clear handoffs with radiologists and clinical teams
• Participate in night-shift teamwork and on-call coverage, stepping up when volume spikes
• Maintain infection control standards, follow dress code (black scrubs), and contribute to a positive unit culture

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Florida State DOH License required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant imaging/CT experience (department lists 2 years)
• Strong preference for experience with GE imaging equipment and Meditech EMR
• Comfort working night shifts and participating in on-call rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in CT scanning techniques and protocols
• Familiarity with MRI, X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures
• Experience operating GE imaging systems
• Proficient with Meditech electronic medical record documentation
• Strong anatomical knowledge and ability to create diagnostic-quality images
• Excellent communication, multitasking ability, and mechanical aptitude
