Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered direct care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and toileting while preserving dignity
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report notable changes to the nursing team
- Document care and observations clearly and promptly in resident charts
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (valid in Pennsylvania)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to resident safety and comfort
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of state-approved CNA training program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and ADLs
- Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families
- Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
