Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, helping them feel safe and respected
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) with dignity and kindness
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Document care provided clearly and promptly in patient records
Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and other care team members to support coordinated care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control protocols

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active/state-recognized CNA license (California)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care
Proficient in taking vitals and observing changes in patient condition
Familiarity with basic charting and documentation practices
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Team player who communicates clearly with clinical staff and families
