Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising OTR to help residents regain independence
• Assist residents with therapeutic activities and exercises to improve daily living skills and motor function
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate updates to the therapy team and nursing staff
• Support a compassionate, rehab-focused environment at our skilled nursing facility
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care for short-term rehab and long-term residents

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of New Hampshire
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others

• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic exercise programs
• Ability to document care clearly and accurately
• Compassionate patient-centered approach
• Team collaboration and adaptability
• Time management skills to support a busy rehab department
