Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Help residents with mobility and transfers
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Document care provided and communicate with the care team

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Maine (or compact state)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Bring valid state/federal ID and wear photo badge at all times
• Previous long-term care experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and infection control
• Ability to follow care plans and facility protocols
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Basic computer/EHR documentation skills
