Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, and promptly report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure their safety and comfort
• Support residents during mealtimes, including feeding assistance and monitoring food and fluid intake
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment for residents and their families
• Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (healthcare provider level) is preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks and present valid identification
• A caring, patient, and dependable nature with excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but newly certified CNAs are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of resident care techniques and safety protocols
• Knowledge of infection control practices and universal precautions
• Strong observation and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
• Physical capability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely
