Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care with dignity and respect
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing team
• Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning to keep residents safe and comfortable
• Support residents at mealtimes, including feeding assistance and hydration needs
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment for residents and families
• Document care and observations accurately and promptly
• Build trusting relationships and brighten residents' days with kindness

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Compassion and a genuine passion for caring for others
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and transport residents safely
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is a plus
• Flexibility to work a variety of per diem shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of resident care and safety protocols
• Skill in using electronic health records and documentation systems
• Exceptional listening and observational skills
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in changing situations
• Time management and prioritization abilities
• Comfort working as part of an interdisciplinary care team
