Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Support residents with meals and nutrition, tracking intake and output as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, offering emotional support
• Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Understanding of HIPAA and the importance of patient confidentiality
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Adaptability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and documentation skills
